Argumentative writing- School Uniform-Against

Argumentative writing- School Uniform-Against
By: James O.W
Grade: 9 Alpen

i'm against the School Uniform in SVP and all over the world. In most all of the school in the world we use School Uniform as an part of our life as a student.  There are a thousand reasons why the schools implement the Uniform rule for the student. But this time I will share my opinion about that rule. Well, I think that School nowadays doesn't need to force the student to wear the school uniform again. Because this is the 21 century and we are living in an advance and globalize world. People should be able to choose what they want to wear, and express their identity to the world. In my opinion by letting the student to wear “Free Clothes” it will allow the student to become more creative and express their true identity.
Besides being able to express them, it will cost a much less money because now the student didn't need to buy a new uniform every year. By implementing the “Free Clothes” style equality between the student that can afford to go to school and who doesn't. Because when the student use uniform it will be very obvious that they have money so that they can go to school, and when the people who cannot afford look at the student who use the uniform jealousy can come. And sometimes jealousy can create bad things on people mind. They even may do terrible things to the students that wear the uniform become they are angry and jealous.
But after all if the “Free clothes” really going to be implement to the all the school in the world, rules will be made too. To dissolve the bad impact of using the “Free Clothes” style, the skirt or pant should be below the knee or right at the knee. And tank tops are not allowed too, to prevent student to wear inappropriate clothing. And the student are not allowed  to bring or wear expensive accessories, to prevent jealousy between the student.

What have i learn-james-9 Alpen

Question: how can we use blogs to explore new ideas, opinions and interact with the world around us?

For this past 2 weeks i have learnt about so many things about Blogging. Blog is one of the best ways to interact with people around the world. Just with one click we can share anything with other people all over the world. We can share our experiences, opinions, feeling information, etc. The content of our post can come in much different form, and we can upload Music or video that we make or video that we think it is good for other people to know it.

By blogging we can tell other people about the ideas that we have, and with the feedback that we get from the comment other people. We can improve our ideas to make it better in the future. The main reason of commenting is to make a connection with the people that post it. By commenting his/her posts it makes the person think that somebody read his/her post and care enough to comment on it because his/her post is really good or interesting.

For me blogging is a really creative way to share our ideas and information. Therefore I think one day in the future blogging will become popular again, and many people will use it. Well I’m not that type of person that like to write a lot of information and share it with other people, but throughout my experience’s doing blogging I must say that I quite enjoy it. Maybe sometime in the future I will use it again to share my ideas and thought.

Opus Dei #fantasy story

Title : escaping de’Opus Dei
Author :james

My name is Darren Strudge, I work at the “Opus Dei” organization. A really secret organization that decides other people’s future. 80 years ago, on 1 january 2011, my father and his 4 other friends created this organization to protect  their loved ones  from other people. Now i’m 27 years old, and since my father died a few years ago,  everything changed and  the organization  was his last legacy  to me. This organization work in very mysterius  ways. Every single of us are given different sectors, which differ according to our choices. I was assigned to a city called Terra.
The organization is almost like the mafia, where members are not permitted have any kind of  connection with normal people, or rebel from their duties. If they are found to have a connection with normal people, they must die. My life has been normal for an “Opus Dei” member until i had this amazing and life changing adventure. That adventure begins when i met this girl. Let me tell you my adventure.
That day began like the other days, I woke up at 6:30 when i first heard my tablet beep. I knew that it wouldn’t be an ordinary message. That tablet is the ringer of my assignments and duties, it tells me when they need me. So I stood up slowly from my bed and walked 2 feet away from my bed to grab that tablet. When i read what it wrote, I knew today would be special, i knew that this duty today will change my life forever. My hunch was true and that day really changed my life.
When I went to the road that I was assigned to, I spared a second to look at her for a while, and I felt something strange between my heart and lungs. This feeling caused hard breathing, but I liked this strange feeling and I wanted to keep it. And I start to wonder if I  should  perform the duty that was assigned to me or if i shouldn’t do it.
I was a bit confused at the moment, I didn’t know what I should do because i’ve never felt this way. I dont know whether this feeling will disappear if I execute the assigment, or will this feeling change into someting else. Or maybe it will change into something  even better. But one thing I know for sure is that if I execute this duty, I would never be able to meet her again in my life. That was the most diffilcult choice I madee in my life. I know if I do not finish this duty to kill this girl, I wil get into really big trouble and my life is at stake.
After a few minutes of thinking, i made my decision not to follow my orders. So from that moment, i consider myself a  villian to the organization. But i dont care about that first,  what i care is about this girl i’m looking at. So with courage and recklessness i came to this girl and talked to her like what I thought as a normal person.
I found a flower, picked it, and walked to her, and nervously asked her, “will you be my girlfriend?”. But instead of saying “yes” like in the books, she laughed at me. I asked her again, ”what’s wrong, why are you laughing at me?”. And when she heard me saying that she laugh even harder. She answered in a rude voice, “Are you an crazy?, you’re asking me to be your girl friend, we dont even know each other”. I asked her again, “ Will you teach me”. After a few moments of silence, she finally said “yes”.
First she told me that we cannot talk about things like that in the open area, and we needed to go to some place more private. So we went to the nearest coffee shop. While we were walking to the coffee shop, I asked her name. She reply with a gentle sound, ”My name is Elizabeth Green, but you can called me Elizabeth”. When we arrived at the coffee shop, we directly queued. While queing, someone cut in the line, making an old lady’s coffee spill to the ground. I directly pulled out my laser gun and pointed it to that person.
And when I looked at his face, he turned pale and begged for forgiveness to me. I could’ve pulled the trigger any second then. Elizabeth stopped me, and yelled at me with a high tone of voice ”What are you doing, and where did you get that weird gun?”.  At that moment i realized that i was not in the world i used to know. I cannot point a gun at some one and shoot him when ever i want to.
So I put my gun back into its holster, then Elizabeth and I got out of that place just before the cops came. So we ran and we kept on running until we reached this place called the “Smithsonian Institution Building”. So we came inside, and at first she asked me about 1 or 2 question and then it multiplied to 6 then to 13. Even after it hit 13, she still kept on asking again until it reached about 41 questions. So I asked her to calm down and breathe.
So I explained to her about my life, about the organization that I worked my entire life until this morning. And i also explained to her why i risked my life, and chose her. After around of 10 minutes of talking suddenly, BOOM!!!. The whole room was instantly filled with black smoke.   When the smoke started to disappear a bit, we started to find our way out, until I recognized a symbol. The symbol of of the “Opus Dei” organization. From that moment, i spoke to myself that the game was ON.
So asked Elizabeth to be quiet and walked fast towards the direction of the sunlight that was coming from a broken window. When we got out of the building, one of the “Opus Dei” member spotted us. So we ran as fast as we could, but unlucky my left feet was shot. But we kept on running and running as far away from the building. Until we stopped under a tree and started thinking where to go. Then i remembered my friend Zee. I don’t know if he would help me or not, but it was better for me to try rather than to do nothing.
So i came to his house. At first he was shocked when he met Elizabeth, because he knew about the consequences that he would get if he is discovered having a connection with a normal people or a rebel. But after I explained it to him, he understood why I chose this path. He wanted to help me. First I asked him how to make myself unable to be caught by the organization. At first he said that it was impossible. But i begged him to help me escape. And the he said that ‘ There is a way, but even i don’t  know if it works or not”. So  I told Elizabeth that she better get home  and forget all of this.
But she answered me  with her calm voice, that she would follow me and she was ready to take the consequences. So I asked zee what is the exit road, and he explained to me that there is an experiment that my father and his friends did as an exit road from the organization. And he told me that this experiment was not what i think it is. The main materials of this experiment was really simple things in our daily life. The main materials included doors. So this is the simple explanation of how this thing really works. So when we enter that door we would teleport ourselves to other places instantly, it was like a portal. And when we already reached the other place, we must find the other doors and go through it tp get to other places again. There were 13 of them in total, and when we found all 13, we must go throught it to finally be safe.
But it was not an easy task because these doors look alike the normal doors. That is why we needed a map. And not to mention the “Opus Dei” will be tracking us unti we were finally dead. That was why time was really important and crucial. The faster we move, the less chances exist that we would get caught. So I asked Zee for the map, and elizabeth and I directly left to follow the map to find the first door. When we reach the first door, both of us looked at each other for a moment. And then together we entered the first door. At the same time, we appeared in a differerent place. When we looked around, we are  sure that we arrived in a country called Spinx.
Without waiting any longer, we started to search for more doors, everything ran smoothly until we reached a country called Alchaztar. When we arrived at Alchaztar, we just needed to find the last door, which was the 13th. When we were searching for the last door, we were spotted and caught by the “Opus Dei” organization. We were brought to thier base in Istra. When we arrived there, both of us were seperated from one another. Both of us were being interrogated. And we stayed in that place for about 6 months, and during that time we were threated like animals. We were flooged, beaten, and spit upon by the guard.
Today is January 1 2143, the day I was meant to be sentenced to death. I had a last visitor, and when I saw this person, he was like an angle to me, because this person was really familliar to me. This man brought a thick old book and showed it to the guard.  After the guard read it, they released me and Elizabeth. I knew this familiar man, this person who brought us out of the prison was zee, my closest friend.  The fresh air and bright sun greeteed us like never before in six months. In order not to waste the time that we have, we came back to our first goal coming to this place, to find the last door.
Later that afternoon, we searched for that last door and found it. But the problem is that the door was locked. So we seeked for the mistake, if it was the wrong door or the map was incorrect. But after a few minutes of reading the map again, we formed a decision that the map was correct. The only problem was what was written from the map is, that one us must die and let the others  pass the doors. So I volunteered myself to die and let the others pass the door. But Elizabeth disagreed, and decided that she would die for us. So we argued, until we suddenly heard a gun shot.

Zee shot himself. When I saw him on his back in the ground, I ran towards him and  hugged him and asked “Why did you sacrifice yourself, let me just die”. He didn’t answer, and I cried for a long time until Elizabeth pulled me away and said  “Let’s go, there is nothing we can do to bring him back”. So I held her hand and walked towards that door together. We arrived in a mysterious place, which is as far as our eyes can see, just leaves waving following the direction of the wind. Birds flying freely and their chirp making the sound of heaven, this place is full of peace and joyness. And in the middle of it there is a small house. We entered the house and found a dusty letter. We open the letter, and read what’s inside it. The letter read, “Welcome Darren  and Elizabeth, you are the first two people to arrive on this planet, the planet of Earth”.

When the Red sing for Heaven

Manchester United - Glory Glory Man United Lyrics

Glory, glory, Man United,

Glory, glory, Man United,
Glory, glory, Man United,
And the reds go marching on, on, on.
Just like the Busby Babes in Days gone by
We'll keep the Red Flags flying high
You've got to see yourself from far and wide
You've got to hear the masses sing with pride
United! Man United!
We're the boys in Red and we're on our way to Wem-ber-ly
Wem-ber-ly! Wem-ber-ly!
We're the famous Man United and we're going to Wem-ber-ly
Wem-ber-ly! Wem-ber-ly!
We're the famous Man United and we're going to Wem-ber-ly
In Seventy-Seven it was Docherty
Atkinson will make it Eighty-Three
And everyone will know just who we are
They'll be singing 'Que Sera Sera'
United!
Glory Glory Man United
Glory Glory Man United
Glory Glory Man United
As the Spurs Go Marching On! On! On! (3x)

My opinion about the song: Glory Glory to the Mighty Big Red Forever. i think the fan's make this song for some reason of course. based on the lyric and tone of the song, i'm sure that the song was created  to help lift up the spirit of the Team.

Transfer Deadline Day: Man Utd struggle as rivals spend #BBC U.K

Manchester United's scramble to get the deal for Marouane Fellaini from Everton over the line moments before the transfer window closed symbolised the confusion in a summer when a clear transfer strategy was conspicuously absent from Old Trafford.

And coming just 24 hours after the disappointing performance in defeat at Liverpool, it will have only increased the concerns of any United fans worried about life after Sir Alex Ferguson.
When new manager David Moyes walked through the doors to succeed Ferguson after 26 years, it was expected that United's new chief executive Ed Woodward would help him make a powerful statement of intent about the new era.

Instead, as Arsenal were claiming the honours with a stunning coup in the shape of a £42.4m deal for Real Madrid's outstanding Germany midfield man Mesut Ozil, United were left looking off the pace and struggling to close the big deals that their supporters understandably demand.
From the bold early summer claims in pursuit of Barcelona pair Thiago Alcantara and Cesc Fabregas - a chase that rarely looked anything other than doomed - Moyes and Woodward were left burning the midnight oil to do the deal for Everton's Fellaini and try to set up a loan deal for Real Madrid defender Fabio Coentrao.

And in the background in deadline week was another ill-fated move, this time for Athletic Bilbao's Ander Herrera, that ran aground as United could not agree a fee centred on complications surrounding his proposed £30.5m release clause and claims of impostors (no fault of United's if true it should be said) attempting to get involved in the deal.
While Moyes will be delighted to be reunited with Fellaini, who he brought to Everton in a £15m transfer from Standard Liege in September 2008, there are still questions about how United eventually arrived at a £27.5m deal for the 25-year-old and whether he is the sort of player they actually require.

He will be disappointed, however, that he was unable to complete a double deal for his former Everton players by signing England defender Leighton Baines.
Examine the timeline of this deal and it does not flatter United. In fact, it does the exact opposite.
United made a £28m offer for both Fellaini and Baines in August that was dismissed as "derisory and insulting" by Everton. And when the deal was finally secured, United - according to Everton's own official figure - ended up paying only £500,000 less for Fellaini alone.
If there was a logic and strategy involved, it takes quite some unravelling.

And to add insult to injury United have also ended up paying more than the £23.5m release clause in Fellaini's contract, ironically inserted when Moyes was his manager at Everton, and which expired at the end of July.

It raised questions of how high Fellaini was on Moyes' original list of priorities when he knew he could be secured for this figure before the start of August and has ended up paying more in September.

Fellaini, while a fine player, does not appear to be the identikit of the sort of midfield player needed to reinvigorate a department of United's team that is in urgent need of repair.
He will provide power, aerial threat and goals. Fellaini will also provide an element of enforcement but will he really provide the element of craft and creation United's midfield needs?
It has been a testing transfer window for Moyes and Woodward, a trusted aide of the Glazers, and there is no doubt many United supporters will be unimpressed with the end result of their summer's work.

Moyes is still feeling his way and there is no doubt he is operating in a completely different world to the one he was used to at Everton, where both his budget and scope of potential targets was limited.
Play media

And does he have the same pull as Ferguson when it comes to attracting players? Again not his fault, but there is little doubt the allure of playing for the legendary Scot carried a special appeal.

Woodward is stepping into the shoes of the highly respected David Gill and the evidence suggests he has struggled to get to grips with the hazardous business of closing out big deals in an increasingly cut-throat market.

Do clubs find it easier to say "no" to Moyes and Woodward than they did to Ferguson and Gill?
Everton and chairman Bill Kenwright certainly stood their ground firmly, getting a very respectable fee for Fellaini and quite simply refusing to countenance the sale of Baines.
The sense of anti-climax at Old Trafford was in sharp contrast to elation at Arsenal following the capture of 24-year-old Ozil.

Here is the player of the "super quality" manager Arsene Wenger insisted he would add - and the sort of player many feel would have provided that missing ingredient to Manchester United.
Chief executive Ivan Gazidis pledged that Arsenal would escalate their spending this summer and show the financial ambition to compete with the best. For all the criticism they received - and they did leave it late in the day - Ozil is living proof that there is high ambition at Arsenal as this deal was pushed through.

In among the other transfer events, the other big deadline day winners were Everton.
As important as any incomings was keeping their outstanding left-back Baines, who is now likely to be rewarded for his loyalty and complete professionalism throughout United's interest with a lucrative new contract.

They may have lost Fellaini but the loan signing of Romelu Lukaku will delight their supporters. The 20-year-old Belgian was outstanding on loan at West Bromwich Albion last season and his signature is a real coup for new Everton manager Roberto Martinez and Kenwright.

Kenwright's close relationship with Lukaku's representatives helped swing the deal in Everton's favour and left the Baggies bitterly disappointed as they hoped to bring him back to The Hawthorns. He is often the target for criticism at Everton so it is only right he receives credit for his part here.

Wigan's James McCarthy is young midfield player rich in promise while Gareth Barry, on loan from Manchester City, provides a counterpoint of experience.
The big questions, however, will surround the manner in which Manchester United's transfer business was, or more significantly was not, concluded.
And the verdict has to be - must do better. A lot better.

David Moyes 'can't talk' about potential third Cesc Fabregas bid #BBC U.K

Manchester United manager David Moyes rebuffs a journalist's question in Sweden about a potential third bid for Barcelona's Cesc Fabregas, claiming he "can't say anything about it".

The former Everton boss also says his side had "good workout" during their 1-1 pre-season draw against AIK in Stockholm, and is pleased that both Nemanja Vidic and Robin van Persie each completed a full 90 minutes.
United remain keen to sign Fabregas despite Barcelona claiming they have given up their pursuit of the former Arsenal captain following two unsuccessful bids.
